Phonebook and Internal DNC

Creating a phonebook

From your phonebook page, click the "Create A New Phonebook". Type in the name and you're done.

Adding phone numbers to a list

Click on the name of the phonebook you want to add numbers to. When you see the list, click "Add Numbers" on the bottom to add new numbers. When the text box appears, type in or copy and paste your numbers.

You can add multiple numbers as a CSV (Comma seperated values); for example "1234567890, 2345678901"

What Format Are the Phone Numbers

The system will attempt to accept all variations of phone numbers. However we recommend 10 digits with no special characters.

Duplicate phone numbers

When adding phone numbers to a phonebook, the system will check for duplicates automatically. Only new numbers will be added to the phonebook.

How The Internal DNC Works

The internal DNC list is created for your account automatically. You can use this list when you create your campaign. For example, when you are adding phone numbers to your campaign, you can choose to scrub against this list. If selected, your voice broadcast campaign will also add any call marked DNC to your MasterDNC list.

Scrubbing against the MasterDNC

This can be done when you are creating a new campaign or adding phone numbers to your campaign. Once a campaign is created, it will no longer scrub the numbers against your MasterDNC list.

Automatically adding DNC phonenumbers to the internal DNC

When you create an eligible (Voice Broadcast) campaign, you will be asked if calls marked DNC should be added to your MasterDNC list. If you select yes, the calls will be added to your internal DNC list and you will see them in your phonebook page.
